Holiday menu

After going a little overboard for Thanksgiving, I scaled back a bit for xmas dinner. Instead of weeks of pouring over recipe ideas, I threw a few together the day before and even made a repeat.

  • Appetizer: cashew cheeze-filled sweetie-peps (hollowed, marinated mini red sweet peppers from the olive bar at the grocery store).
  • Side: corn pudding roasted in acorn squash.
  • Side: twice-baked mashed potatoes (and gravy from a Road's End packet).
  • Main: Meatless loaf (made last xmas).
  • Dessert: Sticky gingerbread cake
